Слушай! Мудрость и Разум взывают к тебе.

Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?

Стоят они на вершине холма, на улицах, на перекрёстке дорог.

She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.

Они у ворот городских и зовут из открытых дверей.

She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.

Обращается мудрость: „Я всех людей призываю!

Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.

Научитесь, неразумные, разуму, наберитесь, глупые, ума.

|
O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.

Важно всё, чему я учу, я говорю вам о правильном.

Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.

Все слова мои истинны, я ненавижу ложь,

For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.

все слова мои справедливы, ничего в них плохого нет.

|
All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.

|
Все они для разумных ясны, в ком есть знание - их понимает.

They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.

|
Примите ученье моё - оно дороже серебра и лучше золота.
|

|
Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.
|

|
Мудрость стоит дороже жемчуга и дороже любых желаний".

|
For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.

„Я - Мудрость, обитаю с благоразумием, Я - Знание, меня можно найти в предосторожности.

I wisdom dwell with prudence, and find out knowledge of witty inventions.

Если Господа чтит человек, то он ненавидит зло. Я, Мудрость, ненавижу тех, кто полон гордости и высокомерия. Пути неправедные и лжецов - я ненавижу.

The fear of the LORD is to hate evil: pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate.

Но я даю возможность людям решать и правильно судить. Я силу им даю и разум.

Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength.
|

|
Цари с моей помощью правят, правители с моей помощью творят законы свои.

By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.
|
|

|
Все добрые правители земли используют меня в своём правлении.

|
By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth.

|
Я тех люблю, кто меня любит, и тот, кто ищет, тот меня найдёт.
|

|
I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.
|
|

|
Я приношу богатство и успех, и честь, и славу.
|

|
Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.

|
Мои дары дороже золота, и лучше чистейшего серебра.

|
My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.

|
Веду людей я правильным путём, тропою справедливости.

I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:

Я богатство даю тем, кто любит меня, я дома их наполняю сокровищами.

That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

Я, Мудрость, первое, что сотворил Господь.

The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.

|
Сотворена я до созданья мира.
|

|
I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
|

|
Я появилась раньше океанов и прежде, чем сотворена вода.
|

|
When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
|
|

|
Я рождена до появления гор и до возникновения холмов.
|

|
Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:

|

|
Я появилась раньше, чем Господь создал поля земли и первые пылинки.

|
While as yet he had not made the earth, nor the fields, nor the highest part of the dust of the world.
|
|

|
Я там была, когда Бог создал небеса, когда Он, прочертив круги земные, пределы океану положил.

|
When he prepared the heavens, I was there: when he set a compass upon the face of the depth:

|
Я там была, когда Он облаками наполнил небо и водой заполнил океан.

When he established the clouds above: when he strengthened the fountains of the deep:

|
Я там была, когда Господь в морях определил воде границы, чтобы вода не поднималась выше, чем указал Господь. Я там была, когда Он создал основание земли.

When he gave to the sea his decree, that the waters should not pass his commandment: when he appointed the foundations of the earth:
|
|

|
Я была рядом с ним, как искусный помощник, и был счастлив Господь каждый день, потому что я рядом была.
|

|
Then I was by him, as one brought up with him: and I was daily his delight, rejoicing always before him;
|
|
31
|
Господь был счастлив сотворённым Им миром и счастлив был, увидев сотворённых Им людей.
|

|
Rejoicing in the habitable part of his earth; and my delights were with the sons of men.
|
|
32
|
Теперь послушайте, дети, меня. Вы будете счастливы, если пойдёте моими путями.
|

|
Now therefore hearken unto me, O ye children: for blessed are they that keep my ways.
|
|
33
|
Слушайте мои наставления и будьте мудры, не отказывайтесь слушать.
|
33
|
Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.
|
|
34
|
Кто слушает меня, кто ежедневно бодрствует и ждёт возле дверей моих, воистину тот счастлив будет!
|

|
Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.
|
|
35
|
Тот, кто меня находит, - жизнь находит, добро от Господа получит он.
|
35
|
For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favour of the LORD.
|
|
36
|
А кто грешит против меня, тот вред себе наносит. Любой, кто мудрость ненавидит, - любит смерть".
|

|
But he that sinneth against me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate me love death.
