The words of king Lemuel, the prophecy that his mother taught him.

Ты мой сын, мой любимый, о котором просила в молитве.

What, my son? and what, the son of my womb? and what, the son of my vows?
|

|
Не теряй силу свою на женщин, они разрушают царей. Не растрачивайся на них.

|
Give not thy strength unto women, nor thy ways to that which destroyeth kings.
|

|
Лемуил, не мудро царю пить вино, как не мудро правителю пива хотеть.
|

|
It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; nor for princes strong drink:
|
|

|
Они могут пить слишком много и забыть, что закон говорит, тогда отнимут они права бедных.
|

Lest they drink, and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.
|

|
Нищим пиво отдай, отдай вино тем, чья жизнь такая горькая.

|
Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts.
|

|
Будут пить и забудут про бедность свою, будут пить и забудут несчастья свои.

Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.

|
Говори за тех, кто не может говорить, защищай права нищих!

Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction.

Говори и требуй справедливости! Защищай права бедных и нуждающихся!

Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.

Очень трудно найти совершенную женщину, но цена её превыше драгоценностей.

Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

Муж её зависит от неё, он бедности никогда не узнает.

The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

Она всю жизнь старается для мужа и никогда не причиняет бед.

She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

|
Всё время занята она, трудясь над шерстью и одеждой.

|
She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.

|
Словно корабль, приплывший издалека, она отовсюду приносит пищу в свой дом.

She is like the merchants' ships; she bringeth her food from afar.

|
Утром встаёт она рано, еду всей семье готовит и отдаёт распоряжения служанкам.

She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.

Она земли приобретает, осматривая их, она использует деньги во благо и сажает виноградники.

She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

|
Трудится она много, ей сил хватает на любую работу.

She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.
|

|
Занимаясь обменом вещей, она получает прибыль, она трудится допоздна.
|

She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.
|
|

|
Она прядёт свои нити и ткёт своё полотно.
|

|
She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.
|

|
Всегда подаёт она бедным и помогает всем, кто в нужде.
|

|
She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.

|
Она о семье своей не волнуется, если идёт снегом обеспечила всех тёплой одеждой.
|

|
She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

|
Она делает простыни и покрывала, на ней на самой одежда из прекрасного полотна.

She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.

|
Люди чтут её мужа, он один из известных на этой земле.

|
Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.

|
Она успешна в делах, она купцам продаёт сотканные ею одежды.
|

|
She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.

|

|
Она и сильна, и уважаема всеми.
|

|
Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
|
|

|
Она говорит мудро и знает наставления мудрые.
|

|
She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.
|

|
Она не ленива и заботится о всём доме.
|

|
She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.
|

Дети её говорят о ней хорошо, муж её хвалится ею:

Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.
|
|

|
„Есть много хороших женщин, но ты ни с кем не сравнима".
|

|
Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.
|
|

|
Грация и красота могут и обмануть. Но женщина, которая чтит Господа, должна быть восхвалена.
|

|
Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.
|
|
31
|
Воздай ей по добродетелям её, восхвали при народе за всё ею совершённое.
|
31
|
Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.
