Итак слушай, Иов, речи мои и внимай всем словам моим.

Wherefore, Job, I pray thee, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.

Вот, я открываю уста мои, язык мой говорит в гортани моей.

Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue hath spoken in my mouth.

|
Слова мои от искренности моего сердца, и уста мои произнесут знание чистое.

|
My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.
|
|

|
Дух Божий создал меня, и дыхание Вседержителя дало мне жизнь.
|

|
The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life.
|
|

|
Если можешь, отвечай мне и стань передо мною.
|

|
If thou canst answer me, set thy words in order before me, stand up.
|
|

|
Вот я, по желанию твоему, вместо Бога. Я образован также из брения;
|

|
Behold, I am according to thy wish in God's stead: I also am formed out of the clay.
|
|

|
поэтому страх передо мною не может смутить тебя, и рука моя не будет тяжела для тебя.
|

|
Behold, my terror shall not make thee afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon thee.
|
|

|
Ты говорил в уши мои, и я слышал звук слов:
|

|
Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,
|
|

|
чист я, без порока, невинен я, и нет во мне неправды;
|
9
|
I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.
|
|
10
|
а Он нашел обвинение против меня и считает меня Своим противником;
|
10
|
Behold, he findeth occasions against me, he counteth me for his enemy,
|
|
11
|
поставил ноги мои в колоду, наблюдает за всеми путями моими.
|
11
|
He putteth my feet in the stocks, he marketh all my paths.
|
|
12
|
Вот в этом ты неправ, отвечаю тебе, потому что Бог выше человека.
|
12
|
Behold, in this thou art not just: I will answer thee, that God is greater than man.
|
|
13
|
Для чего тебе состязаться с Ним? Он не дает отчета ни в каких делах Своих.
|
13
|
Why dost thou strive against him? for he giveth not account of any of his matters.
|
|
14
|
Бог говорит однажды и, если того не заметят, в другой раз:
|
14
|
For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not.
|
|
15
|
во сне, в ночном видении, когда сон находит на людей, во время дремоты на ложе.
|
15
|
In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;
|
|
16
|
Тогда Он открывает у человека ухо и запечатлевает Свое наставление,
|
16
|
Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction,
|
|
17
|
чтобы отвести человека от какого-либо предприятия и удалить от него гордость,
|
17
|
That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.
|
|
18
|
чтобы отвести душу его от пропасти и жизнь его от поражения мечом.
|
18
|
He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.
|
|
19
|
Или он вразумляется болезнью на ложе своем и жестокою болью во всех костях своих, -
|
19
|
He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:
|
|
20
|
и жизнь его отвращается от хлеба и душа его от любимой пищи.
|
20
|
So that his life abhorreth bread, and his soul dainty meat.
|
|
21
|
Плоть на нем пропадает, так что ее не видно, и показываются кости его, которых не было видно.
|
21
|
His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.
|
|
22
|
И душа его приближается к могиле и жизнь его - к смерти.
|
22
|
Yea, his soul draweth near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.
|
|
23
|
Если есть у него Ангел-наставник, один из тысячи, чтобы показать человеку прямой путь его, -
|
23
|
If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to shew unto man his uprightness:
|
|
24
|
Бог умилосердится над ним и скажет: освободи его от могилы; Я нашел умилостивление.
|
24
|
Then he is gracious unto him, and saith, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.
|
|
25
|
Тогда тело его сделается свежее, нежели в молодости; он возвратится к дням юности своей.
|
25
|
His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:
|
|
26
|
Будет молиться Богу, и Он - милостив к нему; с радостью взирает на лице его и возвращает человеку праведность его.
|
26
|
He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.
|
|
27
|
Он будет смотреть на людей и говорить: грешил я и превращал правду, и не воздано мне;
|
27
|
He looketh upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;
|
|
28
|
Он освободил душу мою от могилы, и жизнь моя видит свет.
|
28
|
He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.
|
|
29
|
Вот, все это делает Бог два-три раза с человеком,
|
29
|
Lo, all these things worketh God oftentimes with man,
|
|
30
|
чтобы отвести душу его от могилы и просветить его светом живых.
|
30
|
To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.
|
|
31
|
Внимай, Иов, слушай меня, молчи, и я буду говорить.
|
31
|
Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I will speak.
|
|
32
|
Если имеешь, что сказать, отвечай; говори, потому что я желал бы твоего оправдания;
|
32
|
If thou hast any thing to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify thee.
|
|
33
|
если же нет, то слушай меня: молчи, и я научу тебя мудрости.
|
33
|
If not, hearken unto me: hold thy peace, and I shall teach thee wisdom.
|
