Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.

Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength, and come and save us.

Начни же музыку и в тамбурин ударь, играй на лире и арфе.

Turn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

Труби в бараний рог во время новолунья и в полнолунье , пока праздник длится.

O LORD God of hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?

Таков закон Израиля, так Бог велел Иакову.

Иосифу Бог это завещал, когда его взял из Египта, где слышали язык, который не был им знаком.

Thou makest us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves.

Господь сказал: „Я бремя снял с тебя, освободил от ноши руки".

Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

В несчастьи призывали вы Меня, и Я дал вам освобожденье. Из тучи грозовой Я вам ответил и водами Мерива испытал. Селах

Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt: thou hast cast out the heathen, and planted it.

Я буду говорить тебе, народ мой, слушай! Когда бы вы послушали меня, о люди Израиля.

Thou preparedst room before it, and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land.

|
Богам чужим не поклоняйтесь, перед богами пришлыми не гнитесь.

The hills were covered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were like the goodly cedars.

|
Я - Господь, ваш Бог, Кто из Египта вывел вас. Раскрой свой рот, Израиль, - я его наполню.

She sent out her boughs unto the sea, and her branches unto the river.
|

|
Но не внимал народ Израиля, не слушал, Мне Мой народ не подчинялся.
|

Why hast thou then broken down her hedges, so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her?

|
И Я позволил делать им всё то, что их сердца упрямые хотели. Израиль делал то, что он хотел.

|
The boar out of the wood doth waste it, and the wild beast of the field doth devour it.

|
Когда бы люди слушали Меня, когда бы по Моим заветам жил Израиль,

Return, we beseech thee, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;

|
15
|
тогда бы Я направил руку против врагов Израиля, и уничтожил их.
|

|
And the vineyard which thy right hand hath planted, and the branch that thou madest strong for thyself.
|

|
Навеки был бы враг Господень наказан и дрожал от страха.
|

|
It is burned with fire, it is cut down: they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.
|
|
17
|
Кормил бы вас Я лучшим хлебом и был бы мёд скалы для вас неистощим.
|

|
Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself.
