Восхваляйте Господа! Благодарите за доброту Его. Любовь Его бесконечна.

O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
|

Не хватит слов, чтоб описать Его величие. Не хватит слов, чтоб восхвалить Его.

|
Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
|
|
3
|
Блажен, кто соблюдает справедливость, кто праведен в любые времена.

|
Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

|
Так вспомни, Господи, меня, когда покажешь людям доброту Свою, когда спасать их будешь, и ко мне приди на помощь.

Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
|

|
Господь, позволь мне разделить с Твоим народом всё то хорошее, что делаешь Ты для него. Позволь мне быть счастливым с ним, Тобою гордость разделить.

Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

|
Грешили мы не менее отцов, творили беззаконие и несправедливость.

|
O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.

|
Когда отцы наши в Египте были, Твоих чудес не поняли они. Не помня доброты Твоей, восстали у моря Красного против Тебя.

|
He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
|
|

|
Но Бог их спас ради Своего имени. Господь их спас, чтоб Свою силу показать.
|

|
He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
|
|

|
Он повелел, и расступилось море, и Он провел, как посуху, отцов.
|

|
Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
|
|
10
|
И спас Он их, избавив от врагов.
|

|
And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
|
|

|
Покрыли воды их, и ни один не спасся.
|

|
Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
|
|

|
И Господу тогда поверили отцы, и восхвалили Его имя.
|

|
When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
|
|

|
Но вскоре позабыли, что Он сделал, советами Его пренебрегли.
|

|
When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
|
|
14
|
Но стали голодны они в необитаемой пустыне, и Господа решили испытать. В пустыне предались они желаньям, и Господа решили испытать.

|
He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
|
|

|
И Он исполнил всё, о чём они просили, но также и болезни страшные наслал.

Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
|

|
И позавидовали все они тогда, и Моисею, и Арону - посвящённым.
|

|
Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.

|
Бог наказал завистливых людей. Земля разверзлась, поглотив Дафана и Авирана со всеми их людьми.

He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:

Вдруг пламя вспыхнуло, и нечестивцы все сгорели.

Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:

Они тельца возле Хариба сотворили и золотому истукану поклонялись.

Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.

И господа святого променяли на изображение быка, жующего траву.

The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.

Они забыли спасшего их Бога, Который чудеса творил в Египте,

He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
|

|
Который диво сотворил в земле у Хама и страшное творил у моря Красного.
|

|
To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.
|
|

|
Господь хотел их истребить, но Моисей, Его избранник, встал перед Ним, не дав Господню гневу разгореться.
|

|
Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
|
|
24
|
И в землю благостную, Ханаан, идти они не пожелали, Его не веря обещаньям. Они ослушались Его.
|

|
And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
|
|
25
|
В шатрах своих они роптали и не подчинялись Богу.
|

|
He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
|
|
26
|
Тогда Он поднял руку и поклялся, что сгинуть их в пустыне Он заставит,
|

|
He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.
|
|
27
|
а их потомков победят народы, и разбросают их по всей земле.
|

|
They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
|
|
28
|
Тогда они Пеорскому Ваалу поклонились. Устраивали оргии они, и ели жертвопринесённых богам бездушным.
|

|
He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
|
|

|
И Бог от этого разгневался на них, и разразилась среди них чума.
|

|
He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
|
|

|
Но Финеес молился Богу. Хотел он помешать народу совершать эти грехи. Услышал Бог его, и прекратил смертельные болезни.

|
Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
|
|

|
За это Финееса запомнят сотни поколений.
|

|
He spake, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.
|
|

|
У вод Меривы люди вызвали гнев Божий, на Моисея беды навлекли.
|

|
He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
|
|
33
|
И огорчили люди Моисея, и погрешил устами он своими.
|

|
He smote their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.
|
|
34
|
Они не уничтожили народы Ханаана, как им велел Господь,
|

|
He spake, and the locusts came, and caterpillers, and that without number,
|
|
35
|
а стали жить средь них, усвоив их обычаи.
|

|
And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
|
|

|
Поклонялись идолам они, что стало их ловушкой.
|

|
He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
|
|

|
И жертвовали демонам и сыновей, и дочерей своих.
|

|
He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
|
|

|
Невинную кровь проливали, кровь сыновей и дочерей, которых жертвовали идолам, и осквернили землю кровью той.

|
Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
|
|

|
Делами недостойными своими запачкали себя и осквернили.

|
He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.

|
И потому на них разгневался Господь, и надоело Ему наследие Его.

|
The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

|

|
Господь их передал другим народам, и стали ими управлять враги.
|

|
He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
|
|

|
От угнетения врагов их жизнь невыносимой стала.
|

|
For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
|
|

|
Господь их много раз спасал, но их влекло к непослушанью, и потерялись они в собственном грехе.
|

|
And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:
|
|
44
|
Но зов их слышал Он, когда они в несчастье были,
|

|
And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;
|
|
45
|
и Он смягчился от Своей любви, и вспомнил данный им завет.
|

|
That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the LORD.

И тем народам, что пленили их, внушил Он состраданье.
|

Ты спас нас, Господи, и вместе всех собрал, чтобы могли Тебя мы славить.
