И сказал Господь Моисею:
|

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
|

„Поговори с народом Израилевым. Возьми у них двенадцать деревянных дорожных посохов, по одному посоху от главы каждого из двенадцати родов, напиши имя каждого на его посохе,
|

Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write thou every man's name upon his rod.

на посохе Левия напиши имя Аарона. Пусть будет по посоху на каждый из двенадцати родов.
|

|
And thou shalt write Aaron's name upon the rod of Levi: for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers.
|

Положи эти дорожные посохи в шатре собрания перед ковчегом соглашения. На том месте Я встречусь с тобой

And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you.
|
|

|
и выберу одного человека истинным священником, и вы узнаете этого человека по тому, что на его дорожном посохе начнут расти живые листья. Так Я остановлю вечный ропот народа против вас и Меня".

And it shall come to pass, that the man's rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you.

Моисей поговорил с израильским народом, и глава каждого рода дал ему по дорожному посоху. Всего было двенадцать посохов - по одному от главы каждого рода; один же посох принадлежал Аарону.

And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers' houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods.

Моисей положил дорожные посохи перед Господом в шатре соглашения.
|

|
And Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in the tabernacle of witness.
|

На следующий день Моисей, войдя в шатёр, увидел, что на дорожном посохе Аарона, посохе семьи Левия, выросли живые листья, на нём даже выросли ветви и миндаль.

|
And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.
|

|
Моисей вынес все дорожные посохи из обиталища Господнего и показал их израильскому народу. Все посмотрели на посохи, и каждый взял свой посох обратно.

And Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD unto all the children of Israel: and they looked, and took every man his rod.
|
|

|
И тогда Господь сказал Моисею: „Положи дорожный посох Аарона перед соглашением. Это будет предупреждением тем, кто восстаёт на Меня, чтобы прекратился их ропот против Меня, и тогда Я их не погублю".

And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron's rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.
|

Моисей сделал так, как повелел ему Господь.
|

|
And Moses did so: as the LORD commanded him, so did he.
|
|

|
Израильский народ сказал Моисею: „Мы знаем, что умрём! Мы погибли! Мы знаем, что будем уничтожены!
|

|
And the children of Israel spake unto Moses, saying, Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish.
|
|
13
|
Всякий, кто приблизится к святилищу Господнему, умирает! Неужели нам всем придётся умереть?!"
|

|
Whosoever cometh any thing near unto the tabernacle of the LORD shall die: shall we be consumed with dying?
