Если человек женится, а потом узнает тайну об этой женщине, которая ему не понравится, и если он недоволен женой, пусть напишет разводное письмо, даст ей и отошлёт её из своего дома.

When a man hath taken a wife, and married her, and it come to pass that she find no favour in his eyes, because he hath found some uncleanness in her: then let him write her a bill of divorcement, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

Оставив его дом, она может пойти и стать женой другого.

And when she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's wife.
|
|

|
Но если и другой муж ею тоже недоволен и отошлёт её, и разведётся с ней, или если другой муж её умрёт, то первый муж не может снова взять её в жёны, ибо она стала для него нечистой; если он снова женится на ней, то поступок его будет ненавистен Господу. Не свершай такого греха на земле, которую Господь, Бог твой, даёт тебе.

And if the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorcement, and giveth it in her hand, and sendeth her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, which took her to be his wife;

Но если и другой муж ею тоже недоволен и отошлёт её, и разведётся с ней, или если другой муж её умрёт, то первый муж не может снова взять её в жёны, ибо она стала для него нечистой; если он снова женится на ней, то поступок его будет ненавистен Господу. Не свершай такого греха на земле, которую Господь, Бог твой, даёт тебе.

Her former husband, which sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before the LORD: and thou shalt not cause the land to sin, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.

Того, кто недавно женился, пусть не посылают в армию и пусть не дают ему никакой особой работы; пусть он целый год остаётся дома на радость своей жене.

When a man hath taken a new wife, he shall not go out to war, neither shall he be charged with any business: but he shall be free at home one year, and shall cheer up his wife which he hath taken.

Когда даёшь кому-то в долг, не бери у него в залог жернова, которыми он мелет муку, ибо это равносильно тому, что отобрать у него еду.

No man shall take the nether or the upper millstone to pledge: for he taketh a man's life to pledge.

|
Если один израильтянин похитил другого из числа своего народа, и если похититель продал того человека в рабство, то похититель должен быть убит. Избавь род свой от этого зла.

If a man be found stealing any of his brethren of the children of Israel, and maketh merchandise of him, or selleth him; then that thief shall die; and thou shalt put evil away from among you.

Если ты болен проказой, тщательно исполняй всё, чему учат священники левиты,

Take heed in the plague of leprosy, that thou observe diligently, and do according to all that the priests the Levites shall teach you: as I commanded them, so ye shall observe to do.

помни, что Господь, Бог твой, сделал с Мариамью на пути, когда вы шли из Египта.

|
Remember what the LORD thy God did unto Miriam by the way, after that ye were come forth out of Egypt.

|
Если даёшь кому-то в долг, не заходи к нему в дом за залогом,
|

|
When thou dost lend thy brother any thing, thou shalt not go into his house to fetch his pledge.
|
|
11
|
оставайся снаружи, пусть тот, кому ты дал в долг, вынесет тебе залог.
|

|
Thou shalt stand abroad, and the man to whom thou dost lend shall bring out the pledge abroad unto thee.
|
|
12
|
Если он беден, не оставляй у себя его залог на ночь,
|
12
|
And if the man be poor, thou shalt not sleep with his pledge:
|
|
13
|
а возврати в тот же вечер, и тогда у него будет одежда, в чём спать, и он благословит тебя, и Господь, Бог твой, засчитает тебе это как праведное и доброе дело.

|
In any case thou shalt deliver him the pledge again when the sun goeth down, that he may sleep in his own raiment, and bless thee: and it shall be righteousness unto thee before the LORD thy God.
|

14
|
Не обманывай наёмного работника, бедного и нуждающегося, будь то израильтянин или иноземец, живущий в одном из твоих городов.
|

|
Thou shalt not oppress an hired servant that is poor and needy, whether he be of thy brethren, or of thy strangers that are in thy land within thy gates:
|
|
15
|
Отдавай ему плату каждый день перед заходом солнца, ибо он беден и рассчитывает на эти деньги. Если не заплатишь ему, он пожалуется на тебя Господу, и ты будешь повинен в грехе.

At his day thou shalt give him his hire, neither shall the sun go down upon it; for he is poor, and setteth his heart upon it: lest he cry against thee unto the LORD, and it be sin unto thee.
|
|

|
Не наказывай смертью родителей за проступки их детей, не наказывай смертью детей за проступки их родителей. Наказывай смертью человека только за проступок,
|

|
The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.
|
|
17
|
Удостоверься, что с иноземцами и сиротами обращаются справедливо; не бери у вдовы в залог её одежду.
|

|
Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow's raiment to pledge:
|
|
18
|
Помни, что вы были рабами в Египте, и Господь, Бог твой, увёл вас оттуда и освободил, поэтому я и тебе велю так поступать с бедными.

|
But thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee thence: therefore I command thee to do this thing.

|
Если, собирая урожай в поле, ты по забывчивости оставишь там часть зерна, не возвращайся за ним, пусть оно будет оставлено для иноземцев, сирот и вдов, чтобы Господь, Бог твой, благословил тебя во всём, что ты делаешь.

When thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt not go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.
|

|
Когда будешь стряхивать плоды со своих деревьев, не возвращайся, чтобы проверить, осталось ли ещё что на ветвях, ибо оставшиеся там оливы будут для иноземцев, вдов и сирот.

|
When thou beatest thine olive tree, thou shalt not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
|
|
21
|
Когда будешь собирать виноград со своего виноградника, не возвращайся за оставшимся виноградом, ибо этот виноград будет для иноземцев, вдов и сирот.

|
When thou gatherest the grapes of thy vineyard, thou shalt not glean it afterward: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
|
|
22
|
Помни, что вы были бедными рабами в Египте, поэтому я и повелеваю тебе делать всё это для бедных.

|
And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt: therefore I command thee to do this thing.
