Екклесиаст 2:16

потому что мудрого не будут помнить вечно, как и глупого; в грядущие дни все будет забыто, и увы! мудрый умирает наравне с глупым.

Оба умрут - и мудрый, и глупый, и люди не будут помнить вечно ни мудрого, ни глупого. Люди забудут всё, что те сделали.

Не лишається пам'яти про мудрого, як і про нерозумного, на вічні віки, в днях наступних зовсім все забудеться, і мудрий вмирає так само, як і нерозумний...

For there is no remembrance of the wise more than of the fool for ever; seeing that which now is in the days to come shall all be forgotten. And how dieth the wise man? as the fool.

For of the wise man, even as of the fool, there is no remembrance for ever; seeing that in the days to come all will have been long forgotten. And how doth the wise man die even as the fool!
