2-я Паралипоменон 34:4

И разрушили пред лицем его жертвенники Ваалов и статуи, возвышавшиеся над ними; и посвященные дерева он срубил, и резные и литые кумиры изломал и разбил в прах, и рассыпал на гробах тех, которые приносили им жертвы,

Народ разрушил алтари богов Ваалов. Они сделали это перед Иосией. Затем Иосия срубил алтари воскурения фимиама, которые стояли над алтарями. Он разбил столбы Ашеры и резных идолов и превратил их в прах. Иосия рассыпал прах на могилы людей, которые приносили жертвы Ваалам.

І порозбивали перед ним Ваалові жертівники, а стовпи сонця, що були на них, він повирубував, а Астарти, і боввани різані та литі поламав і розтер, і розкидав на гроби тих, хто приносив їм жертви.

And they brake down the altars of Baalim in his presence; and the images, that were on high above them, he cut down; and the groves, and the carved images, and the molten images, he brake in pieces, and made dust of them, and strowed it upon the graves of them that had sacrificed unto them.
