2-я Паралипоменон 34:33

И изверг Иосия все мерзости из всех земель, которые у сынов Израилевых, и повелел всем, находившимся в земле Израилевой служить Господу Богу своему. И во все дни жизни его они не отступали от Господа Бога отцов своих.

У израильтян были идолы из многих стран. Но Иосия разрушил все эти мерзости. Иосия сделал так, чтобы весь народ Израиля служил Господу, Богу своему. И всё время, пока Иосия был жив, люди продолжали служить Господу, Богу своих предков.

І Йосія повикидав усі поганські гидоти з усіх країв, що в Ізраїлевих синів, і змусив кожного, хто знаходився в Ізраїлі, служити Господеві, їхньому Богові. За всіх днів його вони не відступали від Господа, Бога своїх батьків.
