Ты поразил Идумеян, и возгордилось сердце твое. Величайся и сиди у себя дома. К чему тебе затевать ссору на свою беду? Падешь ты и Иуда с тобою.

Ты победил Эдом. И теперь, из-за победы над Эдомом, ты возгордился. Хвастайся, но оставайся у себя дома! Не ищи сам себе беды. Иначе ты падёшь и Иуда падёт с тобой!"
