Он воевал с царем Аммонитян и одолел их, и дали ему Аммонитяне в тот год сто талантов серебра и десять тысяч коров пшеницы и ячменя десять тысяч. Это давали ему Аммонитяне и на другой год, и на третий.

Иоафам воевал против царя аммонитян и его войска, и разбил их. И ежегодно в течение трёх лет аммонитяне давали Иоафаму сто талантов серебра, шестьдесят две тысячи бушелей пшеницы и шестьдесят две тысячи бушелей ячменя.

І він воював з царем аммонітян, і був сильніший від них. І дали йому аммонітяни того року сотню талантів срібла, і десять тисяч корів пшениці та десять тисяч ячменю. Це давали йому аммонітяни й року другого та третього.
