Распределял же их по жребиям, потому что главными во святилище и главными пред Богом были из сынов Елеазара и из сынов Ифамара,

Из каждой семьи избирали по жребию. Некоторые были избраны главными в святилище. Остальные должны были служить священниками. Все эти люди были из семей Елеазара и Ифамара.

І поділили їх жеребками, тих з тими, бо головними в святині та головними перед Богом були з синів Елеазарових та серед синів Ітамарових.

Thus were they divided by lot, one sort with another; for the governors of the sanctuary, and governors of the house of God, were of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
