Из трех он был знатнейшим и был начальником; но с теми тремя не равнялся.

Авесса был более знаменит, чем тридцать героев. Он стал их вождём, но он не был одним из тех троих.

З тих трьох серед двох він був найшановніший, і став їм за провідника. А до тих трьох не досяг.

Of the three, he was more honourable than the two; for he was their captain: howbeit he attained not to the first three.
