Плач Иеремии 2:17

Совершил Господь, что определил, исполнил слово Свое, изреченное в древние дни, разорил без пощады и дал врагу порадоваться над тобою, вознес рог неприятелей твоих.

Господь совершил то, что задумал. Исполнил слово Своё, которое изрёк давно, без сожаления разорил тебя, врагам позволил радоваться Он, и силы их Он преумножил.

Учинив Господь те, що задумав, Він виповнив слово Своє, що його наказав від днів давніх: усе зруйнував, і милосердя не мав, і ворога втішив тобою, Він рога підійняв супротивних твоїх...

The LORD hath done that which he had devised; he hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of old: he hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: and he hath caused thine enemy to rejoice over thee, he hath set up the horn of thine adversaries.

Jehovah hath done that which he purposed; He hath fulfilled his word that he commanded in the days of old; He hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: And he hath caused the enemy to rejoice over thee; He hath exalted the horn of thine adversaries.
