Иеремия 2:6

и не сказали: "где Господь, Который вывел нас из земли Египетской, вел нас по пустыне, по земле пустой и необитаемой, по земле сухой, по земле тени смертной, по которой никто не ходил и где не обитал человек?"

Не говорили ли ваши предки, что Господь их вывел из Египта - по пустыне сухой и каменистой, где никто не жил, где даже странника не встретить? "Но вёл Господь нас через эти земли. Так где же Он сейчас?"

І не спитали вони: де Господь, що нас вивів із краю єгипетського, що провадив Він нас по пустині, по землі степовій, повній ям, по краю сухому та темному, по краю, що в ньому ніхто не ходив, і що там не осілась людина?

Neither said they, Where is the LORD that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, that led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and of pits, through a land of drought, and of the shadow of death, through a land that no man passed through, and where no man dwelt?
